Parabellum Resources has made strong exploration progress at its Redlands Project, situated in the Tottenham-Girilambone district of New South Wales.
A review of previous exploration of the Redlands highlighted the Miandetta/Redlands copper prospect as having excellent potential for hosting nickel, cobalt and copper mineralisation.
A phase one aircore program across 2,000 metres has been underway at the project since last Friday.
Looking ahead, the company's drill program is scheduled to be completed next week with results expected in late November or early December this year.
Anomalous nickel-copper mineralisation
Limited historical drilling identified that anomalous nickel-copper mineralisation is hosted in the oxide profile above ultramafic rocks.
The ultramafic rocks have a distinct strong magnetic signature and a systematic drilling program has been developed in order to test the magnitude of this target.
Projects
The company's NSW projects comprise the Redlands/Whitbarrow, Recovery and Lunns Dam projects in the Tottenham-Girilambone district.
This includes four granted exploration licences covering about 690 square kilometres.
In the Yeoval district, the Obley Project has one granted exploration licence covering some180 square kilometres as well.
