Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Media and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.10% or 0.06 points to trade at 1.11 at the close. Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR) added 5.92% or 7.10 points to end at 127.10 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) was up 3.78% or 0.3 points to 8.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 5.76% or 1.2 points to trade at 19.3 in late trade. Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) declined 3.48% or 0.4 points to end at 11.1 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) shed 1.87% or 2.0 points to 104.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 86 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.46% or 0.22 to $48.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.98 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1323.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.61% to 8.9780, while USD/NOK fell 0.72% to 7.9921.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 95.34.
