Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.82% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 2.64% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.68 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 1.40% or 2.5 points to end at 180.5 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 0.50% or 0.01 points to 1.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 2.36% or 0.36 points to trade at 14.89 in late trade. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 2.35% or 7.4 points to end at 307.6 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 2.32% or 1.70 points to 71.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.27% or 0.59 to $45.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $51.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.18 to trade at $1321.48 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.04% to 9.2907, while USD/NOK fell 0.30% to 7.7298.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.93.
