Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Energy and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 3.52% or 6.4 points to trade at 188.4 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) added 3.44% or 2.45 points to end at 73.60 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 2.30% or 4.0 points to 177.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 5.47% or 3.50 points to trade at 60.50 in late trade. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 4.06% or 10.1 points to end at 238.8 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 3.74% or 12.80 points to 329.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 119 to 68 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.20% or 1.25 to $55.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.15% or 1.36 to hit $61.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.48 to trade at $1278.42 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 1.38% to 9.6574, while USD/NOK rose 0.50% to 8.2057.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 93.89.
