Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which rose 4.24% or 2.22 points to trade at 54.54 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.21% or 0.75 points to end at 34.66 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 1.21% or 2.8 points to 234.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which lost 6.99% or 28.20 points to trade at 375.00 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 4.17% or 3.75 points to end at 86.25 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 3.27% or 0.51 points to 14.96.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 78 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.43% or 0.29 to $68.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.00% or 0.74 to hit $74.53 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 7.70 to trade at $1315.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.18% to 9.6910, while USD/NOK rose 0.82% to 8.0275.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 91.66.
