Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Capital Goods and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 2.11% or 1.40 points to trade at 67.60 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 1.84% or 0.30 points to end at 16.63 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 1.22% or 0.75 points to 62.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 5.39% or 0.56 points to trade at 9.82 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 3.18% or 1.16 points to end at 35.30 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 2.10% or 8.20 points to 381.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 68 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.54% or 0.28 to $51.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.84% or 0.48 to hit $57.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.19 to trade at $1305.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.24% to 9.3083, while USD/NOK fell 0.09% to 7.8823.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.99.
