Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Capital Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 4.02% or 3.25 points to trade at 84.10 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.75% or 4.10 points to end at 238.30 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.63% or 2.50 points to 155.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 4.46% or 8.5 points to trade at 182.0 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 4.36% or 0.46 points to end at 10.08 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 3.61% or 0.48 points to 12.82.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 115 to 63 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.18% or 0.10 to $56.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.41% or 0.26 to hit $63.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.37 to trade at $1278.57 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.45% to 9.5301, while USD/NOK rose 0.49% to 8.1751.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.47.
