Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 4.21% or 1.31 points to trade at 32.40 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.74% or 0.46 points to end at 17.24 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 1.67% or 0.85 points to 52.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 1.19% or 1.05 points to trade at 87.25 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 1.04% or 0.70 points to end at 66.50 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 0.88% or 2.90 points to 327.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 74 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.10% or 0.05 to $49.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $52.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.70 to trade at $1260.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 9.3336, while USD/NOK rose 0.43% to 7.9564.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 93.66.
