Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Utilities and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which rose 2.06% or 0.93 points to trade at 46.06 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 1.65% or 5.9 points to end at 365.0 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 1.53% or 1.15 points to 76.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which lost 4.70% or 24.30 points to trade at 493.20 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 4.61% or 4.60 points to end at 95.20 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) shed 4.27% or 2.8 points to 61.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 87 and 23 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.52% or 0.36 to $68.60 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.19% or 0.14 to hit $73.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1221.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.00% to 9.5484, while USD/NOK rose 0.16% to 8.2547.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.03.
