Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Transport, Banking and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 5.18% or 14.8 points to trade at 302.6 at the close. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) added 3.31% or 0.76 points to end at 23.70 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was up 1.65% or 1.9 points to 117.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 9.64% or 0.13 points to trade at 1.20 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 4.41% or 0.35 points to end at 7.59 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) shed 2.03% or 4.2 points to 202.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 88 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.83% or 0.95 to $50.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.07% or 1.09 to hit $51.58 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.75 to trade at $1268.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.26% to 8.9503, while USD/NOK rose 0.62% to 8.1853.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.37% at 98.23.
