Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Diversified Financials, Auto & components and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 1.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 5.03% or 3.15 points to trade at 65.80 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 5.03% or 9.7 points to end at 202.4 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 4.83% or 0.48 points to 10.31 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 1.66% or 0.21 points to trade at 12.45 in late trade. DnB ASA (OL:DNB) declined 1.11% or 1.7 points to end at 151.3 and Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) shed 0.80% or 0.60 points to 74.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 122 to 62 and 23 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.43% or 0.24 to $56.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $62.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.89 to trade at $1282.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.89% to 9.6436, while USD/NOK fell 0.94% to 8.2158.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.91.
