Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.48% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.65 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 3.21% or 0.45 points to end at 14.46 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 2.82% or 1.60 points to 58.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which lost 3.85% or 16.80 points to trade at 420.00 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 3.28% or 3.90 points to end at 115.00 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) shed 1.29% or 0.90 points to 69.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 105 to 80 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.53% or 0.30 to $56.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.53% or 0.35 to hit $66.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.85% or 22.20 to trade at $1221.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.16% to 9.6317, while USD/NOK fell 0.54% to 8.4441.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 96.35.
