Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 12.04% or 1.08 points to trade at 9.78 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) added 4.40% or 3.35 points to end at 79.50 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 3.33% or 11.20 points to 348.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which lost 3.57% or 1.9 points to trade at 50.0 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 3.07% or 2.30 points to end at 72.55 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) shed 2.71% or 5.5 points to 197.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 70 and 29 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.35% or 1.14 to $47.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.45% or 0.76 to hit $51.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.84 to trade at $1292.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.32% to 9.2595, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 7.8436.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.18.
