Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Utilities, Auto & components and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 6.06% or 3.80 points to trade at 66.50 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 2.71% or 2.00 points to end at 75.85 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 2.43% or 0.03 points to 1.14 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 5.62% or 12.9 points to trade at 217.0 in late trade. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 2.25% or 1.80 points to end at 78.30 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) shed 0.86% or 0.39 points to 45.14.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 84 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.64% or 1.47 to $57.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.87% or 1.78 to hit $63.85 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.93% or 11.80 to trade at $1281.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.49% to 9.4478, while USD/NOK fell 0.47% to 8.1404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.70.
