Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Commercial Service And Supplies and Energy sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 18.16% or 2.92 points to trade at 18.99 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 2.96% or 7.2 points to end at 250.1 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 2.64% or 2.5 points to 95.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which lost 5.90% or 0.350 points to trade at 5.575 in late trade. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) declined 2.89% or 2.0 points to end at 67.1 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI) shed 2.34% or 4.45 points to 185.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 70 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.77% or 0.96 to $55.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.89% or 0.55 to hit $62.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.65 to trade at $1326.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.07% to 9.6608, while USD/NOK rose 0.10% to 8.4326.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 95.205.
