NextSource Materials Inc. (TSX:NEXT, OTCQB:NSRCF) has appointed Jaco Crouse as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as part of its strategic growth initiative.
Crouse succeeds Marc Johnson, who has served as CFO since October 2015.
In a statement, NextSource said Johnson will continue to support the company through a consulting role during the transition.
Bringing extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial reporting, and business strategy development, Crouse joins NextSource from Amaroq Minerals, where he held the dual roles of CFO and executive director. His career spans over 20 years in publicly listed natural resource companies, including notable positions such as CFO of Metals Acquisition Corp and Detour Gold Corporation.
Previous experience also includes roles at Triple Flag Precious Metals (TSX:TFPM), Barrick Gold Corporation, and Glencore (LON:GLEN), where Crouse contributed significantly to business optimization and strategic financial management.
