Musgrave Minerals Ltd (ASX:MGV, OTC:MGVMF) and joint venture partner Evolution Mining Ltd (ASX:EVN) have fielded another solid set of gold results from diamond drilling at the West Island prospect of the Cue JV Project in Western Australia, demonstrating the potential of the target area.
New results of note include (with estimates of true width or ETW):
- 5.5 metres (3.8 metres ETW) at 4.16 g/t gold from 349.5 metres;
- 11.5 metres (8 metres ETW) at 8.71 g/t from 235.5 metres, including 1-metre (0.9 metres ETW) at 66 g/t from 238 metres;
- 7 metres (4.9 metres ETW) at 5.16 g/t from 393 metres;
- 1-metre (0.9 metres ETW) at 44.5 g/t from 87 metres; and
- 5 metres (3.5 metres ETW) at 4.82 g/t from 124 metres.

“These are another set of good results from West Island and continue to define the scope of the basement gold mineralisation,” Musgrave Minerals managing director Rob Waugh said.
“The joint venture committee will meet in February to approve the ongoing exploration program for the first half of 2023.”
