Moho Resources Ltd (ASX:MOH) has appointed Peter Christie to the role of non-executive chair following the resignation of Terry Streeter. The change in leadership takes effect immediately.
Christie is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years in public accounting.
He steps into the role with a background as a qualified accountant and tax agent and a wealth of experience as a non-executive director and chair of various ASX-listed companies. All this positions him well to take the reins at Moho at this time.
Gratitude to outgoing chair
The board expressed its gratitude to Streeter for his invaluable guidance and contributions to the company, particularly his work at the helm of the company since his appointment in 2018, just prior to the company’s listing on the ASX.
Board members have wished him well in his future endeavours, acknowledging the impact of his leadership during a critical period in the company's history.
In light of Streeter's resignation, the company has also announced the withdrawal of Resolution 2, which concerned the re-election of director Terry Streeter, from the agenda of the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
This withdrawal does not impact the validity of the 2023 Notice of Annual General Meeting, nor does it affect any proxy votes already submitted.
With this strategic shift in its leadership, Moho is poised to continue its trajectory in the industry under Christie's stewardship.
