Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 4.12% or 960 points to trade at 24270 at the close. Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) added 2.85% or 450 points to end at 16230 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 2.18% or 330 points to 15480 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Leumi (TA:LUMI), which lost 1.87% or 26 points to trade at 1361 in late trade. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 1.46% or 3.7 points to end at 250.3 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) shed 1.38% or 21 points to 1503.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 207 to 111 and 120 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.61% or 1.25 to $49.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.42% or 1.19 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.73% or 9.60 to trade at $1327.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.48% to 3.8545, while EUR/ILS fell 0.21% to 4.2768.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.40% at 95.81.
