Mattel (NASDAQ:MAT) reported its Q2 results, with EPS of $0.18 coming in better than the consensus estimate of $0.06. Revenue grew 20% year-over-year (or 24% in constant currency) to $1.24 billion, beating the consensus estimate of $1.1 billion.
Net sales in the North America and International segments increased 30% and 12% year-over-year, respectively. Net sales in the American Girl® segment decreased 19% year-over-year.
The company expects full 2022-year EPS in the range of $1.42-$1.48, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.48. Revenue is expected to grow 8-10% year-over-year (constant currency).
For the full 2023-year, the company expects high-single digits revenue growth and adjusted EPS above $1.90.
