Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Materials, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 15.86% or 0.16 points to trade at 1.13 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 3.18% or 5.9 points to end at 191.2 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was up 2.08% or 0.13 points to 6.14 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which lost 4.11% or 5.7 points to trade at 132.9 in late trade. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 4.05% or 13.6 points to end at 322.0 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) shed 1.04% or 1.4 points to 132.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 81 and 32 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.44% or 0.22 to $49.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $52.53 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.71 to trade at $1265.49 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.14% to 9.3399, while USD/NOK rose 0.41% to 8.5948.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 99.13.
