Lanthanein Resources Ltd (ASX:LNR, OTC:FRNRF) has received government approval to drill test a conductor plate which coincides with a soil gold anomaly and high order nickel and copper anomalies at the Lady Grey Project at Mt Holland in Western Australia’s Yilgarn Province.
DEMIRS has granted the company a program of work on the Lady Grey Project to drill test a modelled conductor plate under moving loop EM (MLEM) survey line #6 and a drilling contractor and geological support crew has been engaged.
Interpretation of the MLEM results, by the company’s geophysical consultants, has generated EM conductor model plates representing sources for EM anomalies that coincide with ultra-fine fraction (UFF) soil geochemical anomalies and historical downhole assay data.
“We are very excited to have been granted a PoW to drill the line #6 conductor plate which coincides with a 75ppb ultrafine fraction (UFF) soil gold anomaly plus high order nickel and copper anomalies,” Lanthanein technical director Brian Thomas said.

The company intends to drill the modelled conductor plate under MLEM Line #6 from the existing historical access road which links the old Laday Ada mine and the Marvel Loch Forrestania Road.
As the modelled conductor plate is 200 metres below surface and dips to the east, the drill testing will consist of the three reverse circulation holes with diamond tails.
Other survey lines to be tested
PoW applications for drilling on MLEM survey lines 1 to 3 are progressing with a Spring flora and fauna survey now completed and a heritage survey scheduled.
Thomas said, “We remain confident that the PoW to enable drill testing of the EM conductor plate under MLEM survey line 1 which coincides with the 256 ppb gold UFF soil anomaly will be granted soon, along with the requisite heritage survey."
The company has also completed a close spaced drone aeromagnetic survey to infill existing open file magnetic surveys.
Adjacent to Bounty Gold Mine
The historical Bounty Gold Mine, which produced some 1.3 million ounces on Covalent Lithium’s Mount Holland mine site, is adjacent to Lady Grey and to the Lady Lila Gold Prospect which is along strike to the south of Lady Grey.
“The Forrestania region is well known historically for significant gold production from the old Bounty Mine producing ~1.3 million ounce gold adjacent to the Lady Grey project tenements,” Thomas concluded.
