Lake Resources NL (ASX:LKE, OTCQB:LLKKF) has announced the immediate appointment of Lindsay Bourg to the role of chief accounting officer. Bourg will be based in the company's Houston office.
The strategic appointment adds 20 years of experience to Lake’s management team, with Bourg making her mark in accounting and finance functions within the energy sector.
Lake is determined to enhance its rigour and focus on financial planning and project analysis.

Industry veteran
Bourg, a veteran of the energy market with considerable project expertise, is poised to provide key support to Lake's growth and expansion initiatives. Her career is marked by impactful roles in Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, Inc., Sabine Oil & Gas Corporation, Davis Petroleum Corporation, Burlington Resources and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
In her most recent role at Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, Inc., Bourg served as chief accounting officer, overseeing capital expenditures of more than $400 million and managing revenues exceeding $1 billion.
Her tenure at Sabine Oil & Gas Corporation, where she acted as vice president, chief accounting officer and controller, saw the company actively engaging in oil and gas acquisition, exploration, development and production through nearly $4 billion in debt and equity financing.
Bourg's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Production to begin shortly
In addition to Bourg's appointment, Lake recently issued an operational update concerning its flagship Kachi Project in Argentina's Lithium Triangle within the Catamarca Province.

The company, utilising cutting-edge ion exchange DLE technology, anticipates starting production of battery-grade lithium carbonate by 2027.
A phased expansion plan targets a capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum by 2030, a strategy designed to mitigate execution risks while ensuring efficient delivery of high-grade lithium carbonate to the market.
