Investing.com – Italy equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Travel & Leisure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI), which rose 5.48% or 0.570 points to trade at 10.970 at the close. Mediaset (MI:MS) added 2.40% or 0.074 points to end at 3.154 and Ferrari NV (MI:RACE) was up 1.98% or 2.00 points to 102.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included UniCredit SpA (MI:CRDI), which lost 1.68% or 0.2800 points to trade at 16.4300 in late trade. Intesa Sanpaolo (MI:ISP) declined 0.89% or 0.026 points to end at 2.886 and UnipolSai Assicurazioni SpA (MI:US) shed 0.86% or 0.017 points to 1.956.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 241 to 117 and 22 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.25% or 0.15 to hit $60.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 7.14 to trade at $1270.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.1655, while EUR/GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8782.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
