France, Germany, Italy and Spain want digital multinationals like Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) to be taxed in Europe based on their revenues, rather than only profits as now, their finance ministers said on Saturday in a joint letter. ITALIA TLIT.MI , VIVENDI VIV.PA

Italian government's working group on so-called "golden powers" will meet on Sept. 25 to discuss the use of these powers to limit the influence of French media company Vivendi on Telecom Italia , Il Sole 24 Ore wrote on Sunday.

The newspaper also said the phone company and the government are in more constructive talks over investments to build an ultra-fast broadband network.

Italy's stock exchange watchdog Consob may give its verdict on Vivendi's influence over Telecom Italia in the next few days, Il Sole 24 Ore said on Saturday.

GENERALI GASI.MI

The Italian insurer has entered exclusive talks with Asr Verzekeringen over the sale of its Dutch business and could ink the deal by the end of September, Milano Finanza said on Saturday. The transaction could be worth around 300 million euros, it added.

ATLANTIA ATL.MI

The Italian infrastructure group has given the European Commission notice of its takeover bid on Spain's Abertis ABE.MC , Il Sole 24 Ore said on Saturday, adding the EU Antitrust will give its verdict on the issue by Oct. 13.

FIAT CHRYSLER FCHA.MI

If the car maker does not find a buyer for its unit Magneti Marelli by the end of 2018, it may spin off the components unit, Corriere della Sera reported on Sunday in an unsourced report. The newspaper added the unit has a value between 4 and 5 billion euros.

BANCA CARIGE CRGI.MI

A new business plan drafted by the regional lender estimates the Banca Carige will record a narrow profit as soon as next year, several Italian newspapers reported on Saturday.

PARMALAT PLT.MI

The Italian dairy group is considering the purchase of Australian rival Murray Goulburn Co-operative, Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Sunday, adding other food companies around the world are looking at the deal.

BANCA INTERMOBILIARE BIM.MI

Investment fund Attestor Capital is in pole position in the race to buy a majority stake in the Italian lender, Milano Finanza and Il Sole 24 Ore said on Saturday.

CALTAGIRONE EDITORE CED.MI

Chiara Finanziaria has raised bid price on Caltagirone Editore to 1.22 euros per share. fund Amber has increased its stake in the publisher to nearly 10 percent, La Stampa reported on Sunday, adding several investors in the company have asked for a further increase in the price of the bid launched by Chiara Finanziaria.

ALITALIA CAITLA.UL

Low cost carrier Ryanair RAY.I will present an offer to buy Alitalia, Milano Finanza reported on Saturday adding that if its offer is accepted Ryanair wants to maintain its brand and business separate from the one of Alitalia.

Extraordinary shareholders' meeting (0830 GMT) and board meeting on H1 results.
