Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 3.57% or 2800 points to trade at 81300 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) added 2.49% or 5.8 points to end at 239.1 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 2.00% or 25 points to 1278 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which lost 2.18% or 187 points to trade at 8401 in late trade. Cellcom (TA:CEL) declined 1.36% or 53 points to end at 3850 and BIG (TA:BIG) shed 1.02% or 270 points to 26180.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 215 to 168 and 58 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.91% or 0.48 to $53.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.04% or 0.58 to hit $56.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1224.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.7502, while EUR/ILS fell 0.39% to 3.9619.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 101.35.
