Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 6.65% or 521 points to trade at 8355 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 3.95% or 72 points to end at 1896 and Cellcom (TA:CEL) was up 2.35% or 85 points to 3700 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 3.24% or 88 points to trade at 2630 in late trade. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 1.65% or 340 points to end at 20310 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) shed 1.61% or 28 points to 1709.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 223 to 181 and 97 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.50% or 0.23 to $46.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.33% or 0.16 to hit $49.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 1.98 to trade at $1228.88 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.5975, while EUR/ILS fell 0.38% to 3.9331.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 98.94.
