Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 1.49% or 500 points to trade at 34100 at the close. Poalim (TA:POLI) added 0.68% or 15 points to end at 2235 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was up 0.67% or 10 points to 1499 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which lost 1.46% or 3.9 points to trade at 263.0 in late trade. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 1.15% or 190 points to end at 16330 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 1.14% or 16 points to 1385.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 161 to 158 and 125 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.16% or 1.12 to $50.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.34% or 1.23 to hit $51.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1267.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.8477, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 4.2044.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 98.31.
