Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 5.97% or 1040 points to trade at 18450 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 2.41% or 520 points to end at 22080 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 1.53% or 41 points to 2725 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 13.82% or 121 points to trade at 756 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 10.70% or 559 points to end at 4666 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) shed 2.58% or 170 points to 6410.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 210 to 151 and 59 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $61.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.58% or 0.41 to hit $70.80 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1286.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.5605, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 4.0002.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 97.115.
