Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 3.06% or 32 points to trade at 1079 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 2.01% or 2300 points to end at 116900 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.86% or 1120 points to 61400 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 6.41% or 91 points to trade at 1328 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 4.40% or 367 points to end at 7973 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) shed 3.41% or 1630 points to 46120.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 242 to 153 and 21 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.36% or 0.26 to $71.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.25% or 0.20 to hit $80.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 12.40 to trade at $1186.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.78% to 3.6111, while EUR/ILS rose 0.25% to 4.2172.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 94.39.
