Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 2.05% or 580 points to trade at 28870 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) added 1.01% or 35 points to end at 3515 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) was up 0.90% or 71 points to 7921 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 6.04% or 116 points to trade at 1806 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 3.99% or 57 points to end at 1372 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) shed 2.62% or 227 points to 8439.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 209 to 153 and 33 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.85% or 0.59 to $69.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $74.76 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.50 to trade at $1222.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.6517, while EUR/ILS rose 0.20% to 4.2570.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 94.47.
