Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Shufersal (TASE:SAE), which rose 2.60% or 62 points to trade at 2447 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.10% or 121 points to end at 5870 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 1.74% or 38 points to 2218 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which lost 3.10% or 2740 points to trade at 85760 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) declined 2.17% or 23 points to end at 1036 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) shed 2.14% or 140 points to 6410.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 212 to 171 and 38 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.82% or 0.48 to $58.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.56% or 0.36 to hit $65.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.40% or 19.75 to trade at $1393.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.5759, while EUR/ILS fell 0.45% to 4.0404.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 96.295.
