Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 5.10% or 45 points to trade at 934 at the close. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 4.23% or 1810 points to end at 44590 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 3.93% or 94 points to 2484 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 2.07% or 5.4 points to trade at 255.1 in late trade. Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) declined 1.49% or 320 points to end at 21190 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) shed 0.90% or 180 points to 19820.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.68% or 0.41 to $60.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.93% or 0.63 to hit $68.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.25 to trade at $1295.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.6235, while EUR/ILS fell 0.00% to 4.0716.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 96.722.
