Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 4.90% or 32 points to trade at 681 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 2.70% or 1420 points to end at 54060 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 2.40% or 520 points to 22180 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which lost 2.26% or 220 points to trade at 9494 in late trade. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 1.71% or 860 points to end at 49420 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) shed 1.23% or 780 points to 62700.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 229 to 155 and 35 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.30% or 0.16 to $53.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.73% or 0.45 to hit $61.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1328.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.20% to 3.6189, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 4.0683.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.150.
