Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 3.26% or 251 points to trade at 7940 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) added 2.44% or 30.0 points to end at 1257.0 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was up 1.96% or 155 points to 8075 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 1.16% or 16 points to trade at 1365 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 1.02% or 75 points to end at 7255 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 0.85% or 1000 points to 116200.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 189 to 175 and 41 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.29% or 0.20 to $69.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.49% or 0.39 to hit $79.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1228.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.6589, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 4.2035.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.46.
