Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 6.30% or 51 points to trade at 858 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 1.88% or 330 points to end at 17850 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 1.55% or 320 points to 21010 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which lost 6.42% or 690 points to trade at 10060 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 2.55% or 28 points to end at 1072 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) shed 2.11% or 380 points to 17620.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 239 to 148 and 35 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $61.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $70.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.30 to trade at $1280.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.39% to 3.5827, while EUR/ILS fell 0.14% to 4.0140.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 97.197.
