Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 1.89% or 44 points to trade at 2376 at the close. Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 1.69% or 128 points to end at 7686 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.59% or 1010 points to 64520 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT), which lost 1.30% or 580 points to trade at 44170 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.29% or 17 points to end at 1304 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) shed 1.11% or 170 points to 15130.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 209 to 177 and 31 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.26% or 0.18 to $68.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.40% or 0.32 to hit $79.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1224.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.13% to 3.6622, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 4.2001.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 95.75.
