Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.02% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 5.77% or 446 points to trade at 8180 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 2.15% or 9.0 points to end at 428.5 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.89% or 28 points to 1513 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which lost 2.56% or 62 points to trade at 2363 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 2.06% or 189 points to end at 8980 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 1.83% or 19 points to 1020.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 229 to 147 and 35 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.58% or 0.38 to $65.57 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.19% or 0.92 to hit $76.40 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1303.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.5671, while EUR/ILS fell 0.29% to 4.1986.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.55.
