Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Trade, Miscellaneous Industry and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX), which rose 34.48% or 50 points to trade at 195 at the close. Danayasa Arthatama Tbk (JK:SCBD) added 22.22% or 400 points to end at 2200 and Pudjiadi & Sons Tbk (JK:PNSE) was up 20.00% or 150 points to 900 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT), which lost 24.88% or 102.00 points to trade at 308.00 in late trade. Mulia Industrindo Tbk (JK:MLIA) declined 14.75% or 90 points to end at 520 and Indonesia Pondasi Raya Tbk PT (JK:IDPR) shed 12.90% or 200 points to 1350.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 172 to 142 and 130 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $53.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $55.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 12.05 to trade at $1290.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.18% to 13266.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.27% to 10024.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.19.
