The International Mining and Resources Conference - IMARC - will highlight themes of supply chain security, electrification, decarbonisation and international mining and energy opportunities when it takes place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney from November 2 to 4, 2022.

More than 450 mining and energy companies are expected to participate at IMARC 2022, with keynote addresses from multiple state government representatives and industry contributors and leaders, including BHP (ASX:BHP), Fortescue (ASX:FMG), Newcrest, ANZ and PwC Australia.

The conference is expected to be attended by more than 800 mining companies, and in excess of 7,500 attendees from 100+ countries.

Six concurrent conferences

IMARC will feature six concurrent streams - Digital Technology, Mining Innovation, Mines and Money, Energy Transition, Global Opportunities and Collaboration - for a total of 340 technical talks, panel discussions and keynote presentations over three days.

The main topics – covered by industry experts and c-suite executives – will be strategic insights into minimising disruptions, building resilience, progressing ESG initiatives and accelerating mining’s energy transition.

Technical discussions will delve into exploration techniques, discovery and project developments, minerals processing, digital technology, and the role of AI and data in mining.
