Technology-driven full-service recruitment company Hiremii Ltd (ASX:HMI) has appointed Kevin Reece as new chief commercial officer and expects to reap the benefits of his more than 20 years of experience in technology and software business scaling.

This experience includes head of growth, CEO and CCO positions delivering innovative GTM strategy and growth.

Reece was instrumental in growing a VC-backed SaaS company to exit and has recently consulted on GTM and sales strategy for an ASX-listed software business and a mining innovation company.

A crucial step

This appointment marks a crucial step for Hiremii as it enters the full commercialisation phase of its technology, following positive ongoing trends.

Managing director Andrew Hornby said: “Hiremii is pleased to announce the appointment of a chief commercial officer of Kevin Reece’s calibre.

"His extensive experience and proven track record in technology businesses coupled with his focus on growth and strategy will be invaluable as we commercialise our technology.

"We are confident that Mr Reece will play a critical role in attracting opportunities, developing the business, and delivering on our growth objectives.

"His appointment is a significant milestone for our company and we look forward to his contributions to our team and the growth of Hiremii.”

Business successes

As the CEO of APE Mobile, Reece achieved remarkable success in growing the SaaS app for field data in the construction industry, with an 85%+ CAGR for revenue over three years and a sales efficiency of 170%.

He also successfully managed a team of 11 across sales, product, development and customer success, hiring and managing salespeople in Australia, US and UK.

As the chief customer officer at Last Yard, he set up a sales approach based on unit economics and established internal systems and processes across the customer function.

Furthermore, he set up channel partnerships with large managed service providers and technology partnerships with ecosystem vendors, contributing to the company’s growth.

“Innovative and driven team”

“I am thrilled to join Hiremii at this exciting time," Reece said. "The company’s technology has shown great potential through positive and ongoing trials, and I am eager to be a part of the team as we commercialise and scale the Hiremii platform.

"I am honoured to be a part of such an innovative and driven team, and I look forward to contributing to the growth of Hiremii’s recruiting technology business.”
