Green Technology Metals Ltd (ASX:GT1) has confirmed the prospectivity of Morrison prospect at the Root Project in Ontario, Canada, with a broad lithium intersection unearthed in the maiden drill hole.
RL-22-0346 graded up to 10.6 metres at 1.25% lithium, including a section of 8 metres at 1.62% lithium, from 55 metres of depth.
“Morrison is the second target on the Root Project that hosts multiple lithium-bearing pegmatites and it’s great news to receive a near-surface, 10-metre-wide spodumene intercept from the very first hole,” Green Technology Metals CEO Luke Cox said.
Twelve more holes have already been completed and await assays, with seven more to be completed.
GT1 says it is drilling “day and night” to complete the initial 20-hole, 2,500-metre program.
