Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr), which fell 5.11% or 0.140 points to trade at 2.600 at the close. Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:EURBr) fell 3.79% or 0.0350 points to end at 0.8880 and Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) was up 0.67% or 0.002 points to 0.301 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aegean Airlines (AT:AGNr), which lost 1.48% or 0.13 points to trade at 8.67 in late trade. Public Power (AT:DEHr) declined 3.26% or 0.07 points to end at 2.08 and Motor Oil Hellas Corinth Refineries SA (AT:MORr) shed 1.61% or 0.30 points to 18.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 32 and 13 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for June delivery was up 1.16% or 15.00 to $1304.60 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.90% or 0.65 to hit $71.19 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.76% or 0.61 to trade at $79.19 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.24% to 1.1724, while EUR/GBP rose 0.05% to 0.8768.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 93.71.
