Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.93% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Centric Hold (AT:DESr), which rose 5.73% or 0.009 points to trade at 0.166 at the close. Techn Olympic (AT:OLYr) added 5.20% or 0.090 points to end at 1.820 and Profile Syst (AT:PRFr) was up 2.47% or 0.020 points to 0.830 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which lost 10.68% or 0.011 points to trade at 0.092 in late trade. Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr) declined 8.93% or 0.049 points to end at 0.500 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) shed 7.45% or 0.0190 points to 0.2360.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 35 and 6 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.63 to $1350.93 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.75% or 0.86 to hit $48.23 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.73% or 0.40 to trade at $54.09 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.2029, while EUR/GBP fell 0.61% to 0.9121.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 91.35.
