Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr), which rose 9.68% or 0.6000 points to trade at 6.8000 at the close. Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) added 9.00% or 0.0190 points to end at 0.2270 and Intracom Hold (AT:INRr) was up 4.60% or 0.040 points to 0.910 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which lost 7.20% or 0.045 points to trade at 0.580 in late trade. J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr) declined 3.36% or 0.031 points to end at 0.891 and Iaso (AT:IASr) shed 3.10% or 0.040 points to 1.250.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 57 and 12 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.06% or 0.80 to $1332.00 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.50% or 0.31 to hit $61.48 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 0.21% or 0.14 to trade at $65.11 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.2317, while EUR/GBP rose 0.05% to 0.8820.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 89.79.
