Global Health wins five-year A$2 million hospital software deployment contract

Melbourne-based healthcare software provider Global Health Ltd (ASX:GLH) has been chosen to deploy its MasterCare portfolio of hospital applications at the new Weststate Private Hospital in Townsville, North Queensland.

A five-year contract, valued at A$2 million, will involve implementing Global Health's suite of patient administration, electronic medical record, patient portal and data analytics solutions.

The platform will be hosted on Global Health's Altitude cloud service and integrated with its ReferralNet Secure Messaging and eSwitch Integration broker.

Slated to open in the first half of next year, Weststate Private Hospital will focus on the core specialities of orthopedics, urology, oral and maxillofacial, general surgery and other specialities.

The contract can be renewed for a further two five-year terms upon expiry of the first.

Long-term partnership

“Weststate Private Hospital will be providing healthcare services to the growing population of Townsville and regional North Queensland.
