Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which rose 0.72% or 0.27 points to trade at 37.69 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 0.56% or 0.0400 points to end at 7.2350 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 0.28% or 0.15 points to 54.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which lost 1.89% or 0.52 points to trade at 26.93 in late trade. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) declined 1.50% or 0.11 points to end at 7.24 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 1.45% or 0.80 points to 54.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 82 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.58% or 0.74 to $47.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.64% or 0.73 to hit $45.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.69 to trade at $1214.89 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.30% to 1.1433, while EUR/GBP rose 0.68% to 0.8910.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 95.70.
