Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.34% or 0.0850 points to trade at 6.4200 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) added 1.06% or 0.100 points to end at 9.545 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 0.75% or 0.24 points to 32.12 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which lost 4.74% or 1.24 points to trade at 24.90 in late trade. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 2.29% or 0.61 points to end at 26.00 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) shed 1.08% or 0.44 points to 40.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 75 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.49% or 0.25 to $51.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $50.67 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1265.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.56% to 1.0867, while EUR/GBP fell 0.21% to 0.8900.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 98.75.
