Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.47% or 0.092 points to trade at 3.816 at the close. Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) added 1.71% or 0.42 points to end at 24.95 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was up 1.35% or 0.50 points to 37.58 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V), which lost 1.20% or 0.105 points to trade at 8.660 in late trade. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) declined 1.18% or 0.050 points to end at 4.204 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 1.00% or 0.27 points to 26.69.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 77 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 1.81% or 0.93 to $52.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.53% or 0.77 to hit $51.13 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.30% or 16.25 to trade at $1263.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.38% to 1.1401, while EUR/GBP rose 0.32% to 0.7835.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.36% at 93.50.
