Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 4.75% or 1.48 points to trade at 32.63 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.59% or 1.11 points to end at 43.92 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was up 1.10% or 0.49 points to 45.22 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA), which lost 5.37% or 1.91 points to trade at 33.67 in late trade. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 3.51% or 0.51 points to end at 14.02 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 3.33% or 0.185 points to 5.365.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 66 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.20% or 0.11 to $55.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.25% or 0.13 to hit $52.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 7.85 to trade at $1243.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.23% to 1.0704, while EUR/GBP rose 0.01% to 0.8543.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 100.10.
